LUCHADORS IN THE WILD
This photography project is a staged project that features two friends in various spots in San Diego, wearing luchador masks. It explores themes of friendship and masculinity. Going in public and dressing as fighters made people stop and stare. They perused the isles in the grocery store, waited for laundry, and even ate a burrito, all masked up.

CYANOTYPE BOOK: BLUE (fully handmade book with 10 cyanotypes, painted transparency overlays, hand bound in an old Readers Digest cover with a coptic stitch.

MY BODY IS A TEMPLE
This photography project was a trial-and-error process. I used the phrase “My Body is a Temple” and displayed it on my friend’s back in what appeared to be a sunburn. To complete the illustrated type, I designed the “is a” out of her bikini string. The scene shows the irony of someone not taking care of their body and stewarding their health well.
